Christmas

Well another Christmas is over and done with. Spent a lovely time with daughter and partner. Complete Indian family Christmas with much partying and celebrating family and friends. Danced my little socks off. Everyone from the 80 year olds to the littlies danced. It was wonderful. Curries curries and more curries but whose complaining! The only complaint is that the dogs only had one visit in to the beach.

Read four books and listened to one audio book. Dick Francis - 10lb Penalty, Bunty Avieson (Australian) - The Affair, Charlotte Lamb -Treasons of the Heart, Mary McGarry Morris - Fiona Range.

Saw 'Australia' and loved it except for the drive from Darwin to Faraway Downs. It was so twee with kangaroos jumping along next to the car I thought that we were in for an appalling movie. Thank goodness it got better and in the end I really enjoyed it. One of Nic's better movies.

Came home to long grass so the first job was on the ride-on. Nothing like a newly mown lawn.

My first attempt at compiling a blog was fraught with difficulty as I could not read the security word. Would be nice if it was easier to read. After 6 attempts I eventually arrived at the next window. Now where to find the URL so I can paste it into the Rego form.
